Last year, Jaguar introduced a brand-new model to their lineup, buying into the fastest-growing segment on the market. The vehicle in question is the 2018 Jaguar E-PACE, a brand-new subcompact crossover. It’s quite similar to the F-PACE, which is just a couple of years older and one size larger. We thought we’d highlight some of those similarities and differences by comparing the two luxury crossovers to one another.

To do so, we’ve pit the 2018 Jaguar F-PACE vs 2018 Jaguar E-PACE in a side-by-side comparison. Some of the most pertinent details have been squeezed into the table below, with which just one glance shows you how comparable the two crossovers are to one another. We’ll go into a bit deeper detail down beneath the table but give it a glance for a general idea of how they compare.

Compact Crossover Segment Subcompact Crossover

Advantages of the 2018 F-PACE

The first row in the table, below the headers of course, highlights which segment each crossover belongs to, with the F-PACE being a larger compact crossover and the E-PACE filling the extremely popular subcompact crossover spot in the lineup. The row beneath that one looks at horsepower, which is a great example of just how comparable these crossovers are to one another. Despite being different in size, only a single horsepower sets them apart.

The same can be said of the fuel economy ratings, as each crossover’s combined fuel efficiency is 24 mpg. The F-PACE is slightly more efficient through city streets while the E-PACE is more so on the highway. The only major difference between the two vehicles is highlighted in the final row and shouldn’t come as much of a surprise. The larger F-PACE obviously offers quite a bit more space for cargo.
